Fantastic to hear this again - shame its recorded a little fast. I was playing this kind of stuff in London in 82 but these guys are the masters. The voices and harmony.....but the guitar /bass drums ( all of them) interplay is incredible , even at this speed and the ammount they play they never get in each others way. and a solo rating with the best guitarists of all time for beauty.

Makassy Orchestre has made history in the world of music. I cannot stop to listen to this wonderful piece of music. Please, I call upon Verosartis to post more music by Makassy like Molema, Manguta, etc. Please, please, do so with haste.

It was released on the album "Agwaya" by Virgin in 1982. It was finally released on CD a couple of years agoand was available from Sterns Music. I think it's now out of stock.
