He revealed that no man could marry his own daughter-in-law. Then a special revelation allowed him to take the wife of his adopted son. (Qur’an 33:37)

@swghp The bible records that prophets were led astray through polygamy ie Solomon. David repented of the sin of polygamy and So they were shut up unto the day of their
death, living in widowhood" (II Sam. 20:3).
WHy would Allah now send secret angels to polygamists like Mohammed and Joseph Smith to start new religions to justify their sins?

so when u read alittel bit more, u'll find that Muhammed as a man (until he was 40 years old) he has married only once! but as a messenger of God (after the age of 40), he pbuh married the other 11, and maybe u'll also know why did he married those women, cause for each one of them, there was a reason, a reason that attached with the Goal saving and spreading messages of God to the world.

he became those rules from God, God has chosen him, what you should also know, that only God decides if its a sinn or not, for me as a Muslim God showed me my rules in the Quran, so who gave me my rules gave Muhammed his Duties too, u see, God has chosen him as a prophet, but he didn't choose u or me, why!! because God knows us, he created Muhammed, me ,u and everything, he knows what he is doing!! .
