  • The early 50's are probably my favourite era of her career. Her voice is so rich and vibrant, and that vibrato - WOW!

  • Can you imagine how wonderful Judy would have been in the film of South Pacific? I've also wondered what she would have made of Mrs Anna in The King and I and Maria in The Sound of Music. She always had such a natural comedic flare for that kind of musical comedy.

  • @Dianaemanuel She would've been better than Glenn Close! Not necessarily in 2001, because Judy would be older, but she would have been beautiful if she was in a late 40's/early 50's film version. Her voice would've topped the cake.

  • Love this version done by Judy!

  • @geosdgeo Sometimes, I wonder what her life would have been like ,if she had she had a Broadway musical career!! I love her rendition of "The Party's Over" from the musical."The Bell's are Ringing"

  • Absolutely wonderful! Judy, you did it to me again! You, my darling, would have been a terrific Nellie. I wish I could have heard you sing the long, extended verse before the chorus.

  • I did not know that Judy had recorded this number. She glittered whatever she sang for us. She was an angel who was born to enchant the audience. Liza Minnelli can never top her own mother.

  • She would have made a fantastic Nellie!

  • @calamtykel

    nOw that's an interesting thOught!

  • Can you imagine in her prime how she would have nailed the role of NELLIE FORBUSH!!!

  • really beautiful version I LOVE it
