RSL Racing fires up the MM (Most Mileage) Ferrari Enzo for the first time in 3 years and 361 days. After being nearly destroyed during a charity event in the Utah Desert in August of 2006, the MM Enzo breathes again with its now twin turbocharged engine for the first time. Actually, we were not intending for the engine to fire up. We were checking for oil pressure when the engine fired suddenly sending us scrambling to figure out how to shut it off. The engine now features twin Precision Turbochargers, twin MoTeC M600 Engine Management systems and Injector Dynamics ID1000 Injectors, MoTeC ADL3 Dash and Shiftlight Module all calibrated by Motec tuner Shane Tecklenburg (Tuned By Shane T) with custom wiring by Greg Pyles of GP Motorsports. The rebirth of this vehicle was the result of intense labor by MM Enzo TT Project Manager Kevin Marsh, and Authorized Ferrari Technician Randy Felice at Steve Harris Imports (an Authorized Ferrari Dealer) over a 2.5 year period and was built back to original Ferrari Specs using original parts, save for the Turbos, intercoolers and roll cage. The headers were fabricated by Lockhart Enterprises as was the SCTA Mandated Roll cage for Bonneville Salt Flats competition. The project is the brainchild of Richard Losee, the 1997 SCCA Group 2 National Pro Rally Champion and team owner of RSL Racing, who decided to resurrect the damaged Enzo and bring it back with a little extra punch
Props to this rich dude, hauling ass in his Enzo on the salt after wrecking it at insane speeds for charity. Rich dude, you are doing it right!
