Try to actually take the better lines on the track so you can get a faster lap time.

why so much sliding in this game..this is the one thing that lets it down...i saw some videos from nurburgring and cars where sliding all over theshop..

Well actually it isnt sliding... Its just the realistic sound of the tyres.
If u get a 600 hp car and a torque of 700nM u can imagin how the car will slide. All because of the wheel spin is drastic. If u use the throtle more gently you will not slide so much. It is not a simulator game but much more better than the underground and his followers... Also notice i do play without assissts so thats why so much slides in corners...

It is indeed and this game just rocks :P
I would like to try the new Forza 3 on PC ,but its only for XboX 360 sadly .
