Cobus - Chad Smith's sound check

The band Outernational (who has an album produced by Chad Smith, that he also played drums on) played a live show on DrumChannel a few days ago. The sound engineers needed a sound check with the full band, so because Chad hadn't arrived yet.. Don (Lombardi) suggested that I do the sound check with the band. On Chad's kit.. I was nervous, yes :)

Chad arrived and politely chased me the flip away from his kit, after which the show started. I got to hang out with Chad and the rest of Outernational afterwards, was such an awesome day.
