It's funny how tunes hit you in your life at what seems just the right time. I've been listening to This Desert Life for years now.......but this moment in time is when I needed to HEAR Speedway. Keep listening for your soundtrack......it's there if you wish to hear it.

The tuning of some instrument here doesn't sound right. It's not quite....right. Not that I don't love it. I want to find a GREAT live version of this song though!

I'm slightly amazed that in the 6 months this comment has been here, nobody has pointed out that you called somebody lame for writing "1st" yet yourself said "lame to right '1st'". I assume you realise the irony.
Anyway, love the song. In my opinion this is their greatest song.

The same for me, the hard candy album is the one I liked the less, although, his live versions of hard candy is really good!

this desert life and recovering the satillites are close for me, i love thier original sound, im a huge fan of their newer stuff, although saturday nights and sunday mornings in okay. the only album i dont love is hard candy
