@AdamC3046 so did mine check out my videos, the camera did survive a complete submerge in water though.

I love this camera. Good pictures and great filming for a picture-prioritised camera. Nice vibrant and vivid colours with great sound.
My only problem is my one has developed an extremely annoying mark in the lens. Which cannot be cleaned or accessed as it's inside the lens.

it depends on how many pics you have stored.
It can record as much as your memory can hold

I just bought a Kodak Z 915 new for $99. It's 10 MP with a 10X zoom and makes my Canon A 590 perform like a dinosaur!!

depend of what GB is if it was 4 gb the max will be maybe 94 minute, or if was the 8 gb then is 140 minute

What has the best video qality for youtube? 590 1000 or 2000?

Put the CHDK into SD card and get some funny extra features you will never need.

You don't need to install software. It's plug & play and the camera appears as an external storage device in Windows.

Was this in Standard Play SP or LP mode?

I don't know anymore. I sold the camera to buy another one that fits in my pocket.
This video is not representative or a comparison for this and other camera's, because i had to compressing it in an acceptable size for uploading. After that, youtube made it only more worse...

Yes! Run to the store and get one!
My digital camera history:
Sony P92, bought it about 5 years ago, great pictures, but it was broken after years usage.
Panasonic LS2: Great pictures in good light condition, but it sucks and give lot noise in low light conditions.
Sony H3: The most crappy camera ever, pictures are similar to cellphonecamera pictures.
Canon A590 IS: Great pictures in all conditions, full of details and bright colors.
