It's funny.

He praises StarDock as the creators of Galactic Civilisations, then criticises Elemental as having an unimaginative backstory and dumping you into the interface without any explanation. He also complains about it being buggy and unbalanced.

I LOVE GalCiv2 and it... has an unimaginative backstory and dumps you into the interface without any explanation. :D Whether it's buggy and unbalanced is debatable (I'm looking at you, Thalan...)

I wonder where the real difference lies...

The rating prooves the reason that we have too many fps fags in this world. The game was actually good. It can be really good when you get to know how to play unless you suck horribly. to me it was 8/10.

@chimerasta Then you will be happy about the patches of the last months and the progress in the next part :)

@baronsengir187 it should have been awesome, but its not. awful balance issues. When you equip your soldiers with the best armour available they cannot be hit even when soldiers are equiped with the best weapons available. The 2nd level weapopns are not better just cheaper - which is not useful.Research tree is too short. If they work on the game it can get the best strategy game ever,but they have a lot of work. For me patch 1.2a is still beta - but i'm patient - it will be a great game!
