This video has yielded a ton of views, so I must make this clear: You are free to use this video as you please, but don't expect me to send it to you! I will not e-mail/upload it anywhere but YouTube.

Also, take note that I was a sophomore (currently a junior) in high school when I made this. It's factually correct, but in a few ways simplified and seemingly biased.
Always remember that Britain isn't/wasn't evil, and we weren't 100% perfect either, even if a few textbooks and even this video seem to say.

  • really couldnt understnad anything without the sound bein unavailable,..... its too childish...

  • Well, this is essentially a broken video without the sound. I will eventually re-upload the video with the WMG claimed song removed.

  • Fuck Imperialism, you British pigs.

  • Because the U.S. was never involved in Imperialism...? :D

  • Oops, that comment below was by me on a friend's profile...

For that person who's blog I posted on: See the comment by "Trischetta" below

  • I'm a patriotic Englishman and I'm happy to admit that Britain was in the wrong here. Interestingly our then leader, King George III was actually insane. We didn't get another mad leader until Thatcher!

And what a waste of all that tea! You could have had that tea at midday with clotted cream and scones

  • this was...goofy

  • I love you George Washington! If you can hear me!

  • @gipcambero I think you need to do some reading on the Peninsula War. Britain was at war in Spain, Portugal and eventually Southern France from 1808 to 1814. Waterloo happened in 1815. Hardly a case of "Britain stayed out of Euopean Continent for 20 years".

Also from 1801 to the 1920's Ireland was a willing part of the United Kingdom. The Triple Crown was England, Scotland and Ireland. The Irish, during the Napoleonic Wars, were as British as the English, Scots and Welsh.

  • lol the narrator makes it sound like an computer speeking

  • Britain stayed out of European contienent for 20 years and participated at the coalition of Waterloo with 15% (including the Irish) of all soldiers. Napoleon was not defeated by Britain but by a coalition of All superpower (Austria, russia, Prussia, Britain) and other country like Netherland etc.

  • A very simplistic summary ! Wellington never has defeated Napoleon alone. ALL european countries was allied to defeat Napoleon, not only Wellington.

And they finaly defeated Napoleon after 20 years of french victories...

  • There were jedis in a war?

    (teachers beware of this comment)

  • At american Revolutionary War yanks faced "certain defeat" to the British...

...and "It is a War america could not have survived without French assistance".. ONLY reason the French bailed out yanks (yes Spanish & Dutch helped too) wasn't kindness to america but because French were terrified of British Empire

Although the French liberated america..and only small % of British troops were involved, British later gained revenge over the French notably Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon
