ALL VIDEO IS TIMELAPSED TO 10x............................A strong to severe storm outbreak was predicted and this Shelf Cloud/Severe warned storm was the result. I did not have to chase to catch this. Storms formed to the SouthWest and moved Northeast up the Snake River plain and as they formed they intensified as a Complex line of thunderstorms. This storm produced winds of over 60mph and hail to a Half Inch with very heavy rain. The storm even had Rotation and a TVS was indicated by radar. Near the end of the video you can see the area that the Radar Indicated to be TVS as well. WOW! We were traveling on Interstate 15, between Idaho Falls and Woodville, ID. When we saw the shelf cloud. There was a large highway dept. sand pile that was being scattered by the wind, the dark plume from the sand pile was about a hundred feet high in the air and the wind was blowing the dark brown sand plume for over a mile downwind. The clouds were moving near the same speed as the North bound traffic!
