  • I am not so sure disparaging other breeds is the best manner in which to create an awareness of pitbull discrimination. It seems to me it hurts all dog rescues, and does very little for your cause. We're all on the same team.. well, until one of the team members attacks the other members. And it gets people thinking, "If a Bichon Frise could do this, imagine what a pitbull could do..."

  • @rtpwyk So if any OTHER breed attacks a person, the only thing on 'your' mind would be, "imagine what a pitbull could do..."?

I'm just trying to understand. If a dog attacks, people would STILL be talking about pit bulls? So pit bulls would be brought up and talked about EVEN THOUGH a completely different breed of dog attacked someone?

  • @FUzupf FU idiot, pitbulls are bred to fight and attack anything and anyone and are generally owned by people with the same mentality (ie: #@#$wits), why else would you own a breed of dog developed for the purpose of fighting? Greyhounds are a beautiful breed of dog, tall, graceful and gentle in nature. So go take your short, ugly, slow and stupid pitbulls and F off.

  • @schumifan78 Well.....By swearing, insulting, and spouting off lies. that's ONE way to show everybody else that pit bulls and their owners are "vicious killers" and don't care about anyone else!

  • I personally believe the owner plays a bigger part in dog behavior than breed. But presenting anecdotal evidence, of one incident, to imply greyhounds as dangerous is very misleading. When two pit bulls tried to rip my face off I was glad the Police were there to skin their smokewagons.

Anyone who is doing research on greyhounds contemplating adoption do not let this video factor into your decision. The most violent thing my grey does, when I'm asleep, is fart then go back to sleep.

  • i have nothing against pittbulls after all there just animals , but dont go blaming greyhounds you FUCKIN BALDHEADED SHIT JUMPER WEARING PRICK,

  • @Mind4TheTaking That is definitely a grey. LOL my grey is actually scared to death of my cat. Granted, while my dog is fine being touched while sleeping, a lot of greys aren't used to that since they spend much of their time in their own space while on the track. Its completely possible she accidentally startled her greyhound. That's why we have the rule that he has his space and he's not allowed in bed. The owner needs to be more responsible and think more proactively.

  • WTF Why say it was a greyhound when it was a pitbull? Greyhounds are wonderful pets, and if treated right, will love you to pieces and act like a best friend to you. Don't go trying to show that they are horrible when they are amazing animals.

  • That women mustn't have treated the dog right and cared for because greyhounds don't attack you like that for nothing unless it taught your face was a rabbit which could have been the case here.

  • Esta mujer es el claro ejemplo de los malos que son muchos dueños de perros,a los cuales enseñan para atacar.....y esa gente deberia pagar por lo ocurrido con la mujer,y pagar por mal educar a los perros.

  • What's your point? ONE person that we've heard about. Probably mistreated. How many other kinds of dogs do we hear about doing this?

  • Greyhounds are a sight hound and is bred to kill small game just as you the pit-bull owner knows through research his dog is bred to fight, to the death and both breeds do there jobs well. It's down to the care giver's as to how successful the breed is to the public. With that in mind are you representing your breeds best interest by running down the other breeds? The answer to that question might be for you to take this posting down and find a more constructive way to promote your dogs breed.

  • she still looks pretty good all considered

  • No bad breeds, no bad dogs, only BAD OWNERS.

  • Pit bulls can be violent just like a Chihuahua. The difference is the amount of damage they can do. I have been attacked by Chihuahuas before but found it hillarious. Now if I was attacked by a pit bull I would probably kill it. Pit bulls are fine but the owner has to be responsible and train it not to attack people. Dogs are territorial and instictivly chase when you run away. Having a pitbull is like having a loaded gun. The owner needs to take the time to train it or shouldnt own it.

  • @schumifan78 Shouldn't you ASK the owner before you go up to ANY strange dog to, "pat it?"

I've gone up to pit bulls, asked the owner to pet it.....and I still have my hand.
