open the hood, right near the hood latch there should be a white sticker like near the fan shroud. that white sticker will tell you what engine in the top left of the sticker thing....and if the engine has a spark distributor then its obviously a gas but if you pull of the air cleaner and you see a black hole then its a diesel. lol..hope this helps

it needs a starter... and i don't have money i might see if theres any one with the same time of starting that would let me barrow it so i can see if the engine even turns
