So cute! Is that a Squakers Macaw toy from Furreal Friends on the shelf? I'm pretty sure it is because I have one! I wish I had a real Blue and Gold Macaw.........

@101VirusLover Yes they do, and it can break a bone or take a finger off easily. One macaw bite (especially B&G) is like 2000 pounds or less on your finger.
But if properly trained these birds can be a joy!
trying not to sound like a know it all!
MAY be getting one for christmas and doing my resarch :P I'm homeschooled so i will be with it all day

We just rescued an 8 year old b and g! What a joy! We love her... she is coming around nicely... lets me scratch her head now and it's only been 2 weeks that she has been with us! She will do anything for a peanut!

@101VirusLover my uncle has one of the blue and golds (and I have a little conure) they bite at first, but it is easily trained out of them. give them a treat every time you hold him for the first month or so, then he will love you

I put a nice hard wood perch on his stand. Dowels don't last with Macaws and the bowls that come with the stand do not last. This is just a little stand to bring him in various places but his main area is in the living room. You can see other videos with his full set up.

Jacob is always like this. I have seen many Macaws and yes they are all hilarious, even my 2 Hahns Macaws they do a lot of the same things Jacob does. This is why I love Macaws so much.
