This is the arcade version of Ring King. The cornermen don't look like they are performing what you think they are doing to regain strength in this version as much as in the NES version.

  • There aren't enough youtube clips of the arcade version :\

  • @KiraBlackwater Because most people don't know the arcade version exists and believe most video games start on the NES before entering the arcades, but it's usually the other way around.

  • @1983parrothead That and arcade ROMs are harder to find. NES ROMs are easy to get your hands on and on top of that it's easy to hook up an actual NES to a capture card to record. The arcade version, not so much.

  • @ZeldaTheSwordsman In Japan, however, arcades are easier to find, use and even keep at home. Back when he was younger, Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri customized his own cocktail arcade cabinet that lets him switch between different PCBs (or arcade boards that are like game cartridges). He has (or had?) a large number of them like "Return of The Invaders" (Space Invaders sequel), Missile Command and even some lesser-known ones like the Mr. Do! series. America thinks arcades are nearly obsolete.

  • @1983parrothead For most video games anyway (because people would rather not have to be continually putting in coins for games they can play at home). For air hockey, DDR, pinball, et al, they're still in vogue. And in some cases still a nickel a play. But recording vid footage is the issue here.

  • @ZeldaTheSwordsman Japan seems to be obsessed with pachinko and pachislot mechanical games more than any of the ones you mentioned.

Of course, most home ports such as NES ones are obviously cheaper than the arcade versions, but aren't accurate. Arcade is to biological parent, as NES port or other ports are to non-biological parent. The Sharp X68000 and FM Towns home computer ports were the most arcade perfect besides Neo-Geo consoles, and the PCs and home consoles of today and tomorrow.

  • @agtw12345 In the NES version, it's blowjobs. (Thank God they didn't make a sequel, because I'd hate to see what comes next.)

  • aahhh lol this was a classic back in the days used to run around till 45sec then steam in all guns blazing

  • where can i get this? ive just re lived my child hood in the sealands arcade in ingoldmels back in the mid to early 80s. fantastic,

  • QUIERO JUGARLO OTRA VEZ

  • thats how they gain strength (handjobs)

  • classic ! ill always remember knocking them out of the ring :D

  • 1:54 there's a bj

  • @1983parrothead I was talking about American arcades. The point still stands that most YT content (as far as I've seen) is from US users. And in the USA it's easier to record good NES footage for upload than it is arcade footage. Most people don't have arcade video game machines in their homes, and even if they do they might not have the wherewithal to record from them. And you can't go and set up a camera tripod in an arcade for a mere YouTube upload.
