I've tried many Linux LiveCD distros (including later versions of Kanotix) and keep coming back to Kanotix 2005. I'm on it right now. My only complaint is klik is kind of hit-and-miss on it.

keep my mistake,my keyboard sucks and english is not my native!:-)
and kanotix IS great,i tried lots of distro aside and still use it!

if you get kanotix 2006-01-rc4 from the website(preview-version,but really good and more improved,than the stable one),you will get compiz with it!
kanotix is really nice for m$-changer and linux-n00bs,but pro's although!if you get stuck,it has a great community and good irc-help-channel!
and on the dvd-version,diffrent window-managers come with it too!
(yes,i know,kanotix is going through time of chamges right now,but2006-01-rc4 runs very smooth)

what about somebody making knoppix Startup from cd with Compiz(reqires proprietary drivers I think, but who cares)
The Guy Doing that may set this cd on bittorrent please.
