Aleatoriamente, quatro amigos de Porto Alegre se encontraram em Barcelona e decidiram formar uma banda. Foram ao Parque Guell, sentaram num dos bancos e ali começaram a tocar algumas músicas dos Beatles. Durante dois anos aquela virou a sua rotina e naquele palco fizeram mais de 200 apresentações, venderam mais de 1500 discos e receberam muitos sorrisos e moedas.
Um belo dia, um produtor da MTV Italiana os viu tocando e pensou em italiano: Nesse mato tem coelho! Então, com um convite seu, a Selton foi pra Milão, gravou um disco e fez uma turnê com mais de 50 shows no verão de 2008. O disco Banana à Milanesa foi eleito um dos 5 melhores de 2008 pela revista italiana Internazionale e ainda recebeu 4 estrelas da revista Rolling Stone.

Randomly, four friends from Porto Alegre met in Barcelona and decided to form a band. They went to Park Guell, sat on a bench and started to play some Beatles songs. During the following two years that became their routine and on that stage they did around 200 hundred open air concerts, having sold more than 1500 cds and received many smiles and coins.
On a sunny afternoon, a producer of the Italian MTV saw them playing and thought (in Italian): Wop Bop a Loop Bop Wop Bam Boom!. Then, after his invitation to come to Milan, Selton recorded an album and made a tour with more than 50 dates in the summer of 2008 in Italy. The album Banana à Milanesa was one of 2008s top 5 albums according to the Italian magazine Internazionale and received 4 stars from Rolling Stone.

Ich habe Selton vor 5 Jahren ebenfalls live im Parc Güell gesehen und war begeistert! Die jungen "Beatles", das war mein erster Gedanke! Damals habe ich mir auch gleich dort ihre CD gekauft, und die höre ich immer noch sehr gern.

In knapp 3 Wochen werde ich wieder in Barcelona sein, und bin schon jetzt gespannt, welche Talente jetzt den Parc Güell bevölkern ....

Muito boa a captação sonora(eu quase pensei que se tratava de playback, se não fosse o vocal).

Esta captação do som está bem melhor do que estes programas de tv do Brasil, parabéns!

Seria sorte gravar eles tocando "all together now". O interessante é ver as pessoas descendo a escada enquanto a música come, ciao.
