  • Im from Australia, n ive got the 75 4 door version of the Mk2 Corona. Its a 2.6 liter Inline 6. What does ur corona run? The 2 door looks way better

  • Thanks...my original engine is 4M - 2.6ltr engine inline six, but now it's about to be swap with 2jz-ge 3.0ltr (non-turbo), but still my dream engine is 2jz-gte (twin turbo) :), i believe your 4 door corona is very great car bro!!

  • Yeah mate its the 4 door, not a bad car but just hard to get parts for. What do you need for a 2jz-ge engine conversion cause I was thinking of that or either taking a 302 windsor and stroking it out to 347ci. But this wouldnt be for afew years lol. love the paint job of ur car. What was the top speed of urs when it had the 4M engine in it?

  • wow it's a good engine you planned about, cool... actually the 4M engine is a great engine, my classic mechanic said it can hold about 400hp if we decide to use the racing piston kit and it will give you 350lb-ft but i'm not so sure how

  • there are some tips from the pro racing house to change the ignition coil with mallory or msd (65000volts) and replace the delco with CDI racing system called TAC from canada (if i'm not mistaken), my 4M engine top speed was 175km/hr, using weber double barrel carbie, we dyno tested it... it reach 180hp and 223lb-ft it is so cool...the only problem was the carbie is not constant

  • Hey Yobi - let me know how the swap goes. I just dropped a 1uz into my 72 corona. I have a video with it firing up for the first times on my youtube page :)

  • really nice car man

  • Thanks for the help mate. Yeah I thought about working the engine, but not enough parts for the money, be easier to put a differnt complete drive train in. Thanks again mate, put up some vids of it when its got the twin turbo Inline 6 in it brotha
