300 workout: pushups, legs, abs

My first real workout in months... SO OUT OF SHAPE!!!!

140 PUSHUP WORKOUT ( 300 total reps ) for time!
-30 pushups elbows in
-35 mary poppins jumps
-30 pushups elbows out
-35 mountain climber jumps
-25 pushups hands by hips (pseudo planche)
-40 lemon-squeezer/V-ups
-20 plyo pushups (alternating hands one forward one back)
-25 pike push candlesticks
-20 elevation staggered pushups
-25 squat jumps
-15 dive-bomber pushups (5 wide grip, 5 elbow down, 5 diamond)

it took me just under 13 minutes. suck. that's about 23 reps a minute. My legs are so out of shape. I'm embarrassed. I kept form on most of the push work, and raped the form on the legs.

I cut out some resting and the particularly ugly leg work to fit the vid in 10 minutes (i cut all of the squat jumps... they sucked. i was dying)

  • When you exercise do you have to move so fast or can I go slow with it?

  • @SuckmeGod depends on your goal. I train speed when I want to create power, I train static and slow for holds and stability. If you want to build mass (which i don't) you should train primarily slow controlled movements

  • i dont understand the purpose of sum of these workouts,.. like at 4:44 and 3:47 it looks like theres just a little extra movement thrown in there.

  • mate i am not trying to take the piss but i find it very hard to believe you havent trained in months, some of those moves and the sheer volume are damn near impossible for some very fit people who train on a regular basis to do. but fair play that was impressive
