About to purchase either 2 ac15h1tvs or 1 Magic Amps Brit MKII TB. Why do you choose to NOT run 2 amps in stereo? To truly get a huge 3d sound do you recommend 1 amp with the right effects or running 2 amps stereo and splitting guitar signal like edge does? Please help. You advice is greatly appreciated

@javiceres I agree, my comment was aimed at the folks getting all uppity and tone snobby about his signal chain. If it sounds good it is good. Dr. John here is obviously a good player with good tone, who cares if he uses a buffer or not. He can play period,

Could you please upload a video explaining your pedalboard? Maybe a few tips for us to know how to preserve tone and those little things most people don't know. I think we all would appreciate it a lot! :)

Edge's sound is Mono - that's why.

The more you chain the more you gather cap, its just physics. Loops help and isolator switchers but your signal stil goes through all those connectors and cables. Its just a problem with effect chains in general. True bypass does not save you and actually a good buffer in a pedal like the Morely's have can actually help your tone. If you plugged your guitar straight into the amp there will be a difference on the clean through the chain. Are you using your amp loops for the looper or delays?

I'm good on the Physics (got a degree and Ph.D. with it....) I'm using op amp buffers with unity gain on my board which help preserve my tone. Please take the time to examine what's on my board. It's not just a chain of effects between guitar and amp.

Sorry, I can't really see all that on YouTube. You seem a little young to be a Doctor. So your delay/looper is in the amp loop after the amps preamping?

old enough sadly....delay is pre-amp. For Edge tones.
