  • Once you see that all those shoulder injuries come from the stupidity of the user, you will understand that any tool is only as good as its user.

  • On the contrary, you might want to go to the gym to prepare for kettlebells, instead :)

20-30 minutes of hard work with kettle bells is extremely tough going.

Most kettlebell exercises are explosive (in that you are attempting to accelerate quickly rather than lift it at constant velocity). As a result, it builds some serious all round conditioning :)

  • hurry up with the ice pack, i think i hyper-extended my whole body......

  • I must point out to potential newcomers that it is essential to start light, and slowly build up the weight, only when you can perform the moves with perfect form.I have seen many many serious wrist/tendon/ligament injuries from unconditioned people going to heavy to quick.

  • @tubeuser999 wrong

  • I worked out at one point in my life back in high school doing weightlifting and was not something that I enjoyed. I use kettlebells now and go to the gym and I've never felt better kettlebells definitely do alot for conditioning. I can feel the pep in my walk my body just moves so smooth now. Its great seeing my body transform also.
