One of Roy's very best from one of the world's very best artists

In his book he says this song is for his boys who died in the fire ... the first song he recorded after their death. Not for Claudette but for his two boys. He was depressed and this song brought him out of his "darkened room" according to the book.

@b33zo Actually, it was written by Don Gibson. Roy included this, "I Can't Stop Loving You," and other Gibson songs on the album "Roy Orbison Sings Don Gibson." Yet another great album in Roy's collection.

I heard on the radio recently that Roy wrote this song after the death of his first wife, Claudette, who died in a 1966 motorcycle accident.
