In England horses should be ridden in the road. The pavement is for pedestrians and you can get in to trouble for riding on the pavement espically if you run into a person.

It is a width restriction to stop lorries and large vehicles travelling down the road.

I always like it when it comes to riding on hard ground because you really hear the movement of the horse.

You seem to have 2 quiet horses there, some can be really spooky! I have never had a quiet hack in all the time I have been riding! lol
