I can inspect brakes by driving the car around the block
pulsating = warped rotors
screeching shims = worn out pads
grinding = rotors & pads are fucked
sticking or seizing = bad calipers
similar applies to drums

Expertvillage would be much more useful if their videos were longer than a minute and they were numbered in step order. Otherwise it's a complete joke.

It would be nice and very helpful if video's were marked with p1, p2, p3 and sofort,
certainly would prevent trying to find s needle in a haystack.

You don't need to remove the rotor to inspect both sides. Simply look at the side through the dust shield cutout while turning the rotor through a full turn.

you dont need to mark the damn wheel stud and the rotor... you can put it in any damn position you want as long as its facing the right direction.... friggin idiot

why would you need to mark the rotor ??
i changed/inspected hundreds and never had to mark were it was at.
