One of Katy's signature tunes (and one of her most gorgeous, to be sure), from her 1976 album of the same name--which also featured Carnival Man, Hard Times on Easy Street and her cover of Mr. Banker. Performed by special request at the Beachland Tavern on Friday, February 13, 2009.
With most songs you have to wait until the chorus to hear a great melody. This song has melody that hits you on the first words. Just wonderful. Come to Ann Arbor!

I had the privilage to tour with Katy in Europe for a few years (early 90s) with the band Texas Radio. We performed this song on stage every show.

@nailtechgail yup. "The Long Way Around" is one of the best albums of all time. Andrew's playing is insane on it.

I have been a fan of Katy Moffatt for well over a decade now and this is one of my favourite songs by her. I have also been a fan of Andrew Hardin since I first knew of him through Tom Russell. I was sorry when Andrew and Tom parted company but so glad that he has now teamed up on tour with Katy Moffatt. I feel both are very underrated and I would like to see them tour the Uk together. Katy is touring here soon but unfortunately isn't coming where I can travel to see her. No Andrew though sadly

Katy has a very beautiful and unique voice. Andrew Hardin is one of the BEST guitarists ever...bar none.
First time I saw him was with Tom Russell...he absolutely blew us away!!!!!
I have seen a lot of bands over the years from country to rock and everything in between...but as far as guitar playing goes.. he beats them all!.
