  • 25 years later and it still sounds current and more "alternative" than most of the crap today.

  • "Emergency Third Rail Power Trip"...what a classic

  • @misterobvious

    I COMPLETELY AGREED WITH YOU!!!!

SAW THEM IN THE RIGHT PAYSLEY PERIOD HERE IN RIMINI!!!

    LOVE EM!

  • I am sure that one could find plenty in Cleveland to learn, study, consider, think about, ponder, etc. Only a lack of imagination would have one write off Cleveland (or LSD), after a modicum of visits.

  • The ' Parade are still raga. Praise the lord for the cd release of "Crashing Dream".

  • Yes. And probably hanging out at Paradox as well i suppose?..

Secret Life, Agression. Zegt je dat nog iets?..

    Misschien een keer posten..

    Groe(n)ten

  • I remember watching and recording this at the time ( I still have it on VHS in the attic somewhere) but I'd forgotten just how terribly shit Richard Skinner was as an interviewer. Fortunately anybody who persisted after listening to his bollocks is treated to an excellent tune.

  • "LSD is like Cleveland, after you've been there a few times you don't want to go back?" Classic.

  • @74kimbo That's the song that turned me on to Rain Parade. It's on the Crashing Dream album which is currently in print. You can get it at amazon.com

  • @d0nkeycarr0t been tryin to find these guys 4 yrs want to find that tune dont feel bad can any one tell me how thank s

  • A few hammer-ons and pull-offs maketh not a great guitarist. It was Rain Parade's whole sound and great songwriting that made them formerly enjoyable and latterly memorable. They don't hit the mark, hearing them again after all these years... but maybe I'm just old and all psychedelia'd out?? I still love the pop-syke of "Look Both Ways" though...

  • Holy smokes, thanks for posting this. I've loved this band since 1983, and have never seen an interview with them.
