I hate to say this but I'm glad they changed the voice actor later in development. Animators don't make good voice actors, actors make good voice actors.

@Symphonylux1 They didn't change the tone and pitch, they changed the voice actor. Stephen Merchant was the voice actor you know, this guy has a different accent. I would know, Steve has a Bristolian accent, and I'm from Bristol. :)

Wheatley's voice on this video is what Wheatley sounded like BEFORE they released the video game Portal 2, Valve later then completely changed the tone and pitch of the voice and then release the game in 2011. which is why you all are confused and angry that "THIS IS NOT WHEATLEY!" remember that this Machinima. Machinima have access to video games before they come out. which is why wheatleys voice is like this in this video. i hope this was a help to all of you.
