(HD) UP 1213 Freight with a rare SP Caboose

I just happened to catch this rare 1950's Southern Pacific Caboose when I was making a left turn in my van and luckily had my camera close by. It's not a great view of the Union Pacific 1213 but, it was called one of the RUGGED LITTLE BEASTS

2/26/11.For the last week or so,they have been running this with a patched Rio Grande GP-40,a UP GP-40 and the ex SP Caboose.Pretty cool!

The Cascade Warehouse Gunderson Center Partition Flat Cars built by Gunderson in the 1980's are now a rarity on the GTW/CN line in Michigan, since the CN, WC, GTW fleet of recently built center partition flat cars are used more often.

grate catch Ervans. It's nice to see an old SP caboose till in service on the UP.

I have not found anything on Youtube about it.I didn't have time to get any pics or video of it.The UP swaps cars with the PnW at the small yard off of Cherry ave,right beside Blue Diamond (Brooks st) during the week. You may be able to catch them there.I work close by and will try to get some video and put it up.I dont know how long the RG unit will be in area.You could maybe catch it at the UP yard off of 13th st. Good hunting.
