This slideshow will take you through Ryker's birth, surgeries, and much more. He is our miracle baby :)
Ryker was born 4 weeks early, and had a condition called Gastroschisis. This means his intestines were on the outside of his body. He had a lengthy stay in the NICU, only to be discharged and re-admitted after 13 days. The second time was for an infection in the intestines. He was again discharged, only for 16 days, to return not being able to breathe. He had a procedure called a "Crycoid Split" to open his airway. This was caused by all the intubation scar damage he received from prior surgeries.

thankyou for putting rykers pics on here now i know that my little grandaughter sky has hope xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx she hasthe same condition she will be born in 7 weeks time

What a wonderful video! My son was born with Gatroschisis 8 1/2 years ago, with ShortBowel Syndrome from it. So amazing what our kiddoes go though and they're hero's.
