Michael Moore believes what he believes because as many Americans, they believe the free market system is geared towards favoring the rich, and that is the case, but not because the free market is flawed but because the god damn government doles out favors to greedy businesses willing to pay to play, which distorts the entire free market system. Get politcians and government out of the free market and trust me, things will be better.

@KiwiTomCrawford I work in a country without government healthcare, and the wait times are actually longer. I have walked out of a waiting room with my son's head covered in dried blood because we had waited for half a day. It is so much faster for you under Southern Cross in NZ because the private healthcare system does not have to "take care of the rabble". When they are in the position where they have to do what the government healthcare has to do, they are just as bad...

@dafedge2007 Here in the UK we have the NHS (National Health Service) which is a free healthcare. It was set up by the Labour Party which was founded as a Christian Socialist party. You don't have to be a Marxist to support better healthcare.

@dafedge2007 well actually my comparision is that i receive much faster treatment and much better treatment through my southerncross health insurance, compared to the public healthcare i was receiving prior, and even then, ive been to australias public healthcare and thats even worse than nz's healthcare.

socialized medicine is lame, i live in new zealand and we have public healthcare, I fell out of the top bunk of my friend's bed and broke my forearm, we went to the emergency room, it was a compound fracture and was bleeding, when we arrived i was given gaus for the bleeding and told to fill out an application form, after this i waited 4 hours to be seen by a nurse, and then another 3 hours by a doctor, the very next day my parents signed me up for southerncross health insurance.

How many people risk their lives to get to Cuba? How many people risk their lives to get OUT of Cuba? I had a Cuban girlfriend who was delighted to have escaped from Cuba. She sad that people were banned from studying any philosophy other than Marxism. If Michael Moore thinks Cuba's government is so great why hasn't he moved there? Marxism/Communism doesn't help the poor, it helps the government bureaucratic class.
