hmmm it so funny how you cant differentiate between poetry and literary forums. I laughed when you used haddiths. Like haddiths are the same as the Quran. Really?

Okay, more accurately

Believe me or my friend Bob will punch you in the face.
>Good luck with your choice
It isn't a choice, I am completely incapable of believing Islam is true.

@Ma7m9d The word "كل" refers to the earlier "الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر". No where in those verses was the word "الأرض" mentioned. I have no idea how you managed to sneak it in there. And yes, the Qur'an does say that they all move along the same orbit (singular "فلك"). That's how Islamic scholars have understood it for centuries. Even Ibn Baz (who died in 1999) said that the "false theory" of earth orbiting the sun is anti-Islamic.
Please reply in only one comment so I can follow this dialog.

@SaudiPseudonym So as a conclusion, Quran doesnot explicitly says which is orbiting which, and this is the closest to reality (than other scriptures).
Well, Quran simply says all of them are in motion in orbits. That is, the sun and the earth both moving. Simply Read the verses if you want to know, Don't listen to this ignorant.

Yes, it says that the Sun and Moon are in orbits....usually directly after mentioning the night and the day (which cycle every 24 hours.)
