When I was a kook we used to look at these waves when all other beaches were closed out. We never thought it could be surfed back in the 70's. Technology provides the opportunity; now all that's left are your balls... they should open this up once a year for the pro's like Maverick's. Are the sea otters there when the surf is this big? That's what the ban is all about anyway right? A jet ski can't be as scary as the waves to all the little beasties that live there... common. =:)
