  • Hey Canada, in the LDS church it is all about appearance and if you "feel" you are "worthy"--right. Don't worry about truth, facts or what the New Testament says, they just get in the way. ONLY our God, Jesus, is "worthy",until you give your life to ONLY Jesus, not a corporation based on a false prophet seeing an angel of light that taught another gospel not based on grace- you will not receive Eternal Life. Read 1st John 5:9-14

  • i am very happy that you have found theh right path, Bible is the living word of GOD we don't need new prophets, Jesus said that i will be with even util the end of the world. We should all wait for his second coming rather than looking towardss false prophets like Joseph Smith, David Korash etc..

  • The Apostle John said it so powerfully, & yet so very simply:

"And this is the record, that God has given to us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

I have written these things to you who believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:11-13)

    Amen!

  • Great testimony of God's love and grace!

  • @garrulah Enjoyed your post .

  • Was talking to a member in 1st Ward Fayetteville today and we were talking about members we both know from years ago . She told of one that came to Church on Memorial Day . He hasn't been to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day

Saints for 10 years . But decided it was time to come back . So there is hope for all of you . Good Luck . Take Care. There are simple answers to all of these questions but these anti guys don't want you to know that . Misery loves company I guess.

  • @SuperHodja BECAUSE MORMONISM IS THE CHURCH OF CHRIST WE ARE MEMBERS OF HIS CHURCH AND ANYONE AGAINST OUR FAITH IS A ENEMY OF GOD M DIDI YOU GET IT ?? THAT´S WHY !!!

  • I WAS BORNE AND RAISED METHODIST. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS A PREACHER AND PASTOR IN BRAZIL MY COUNTRY. I FOUND IN MORMONISM THE ONLY ONE TRUE GOSPEL THE ONLY ONE TRUE CHURCH , I AM HAPPY AND I HAD THE SUPER NATURAL EXPERIENCE, SO WHAT,

ABOUT THIS UTAHM PLEASE GO ON A DIET LOST SOME WEIGHT, CASE YOUR MIND BY YOYUR DECLARATION YOU NEVER HAD ,

  • PTL for this man's eloquent testimony of what it means to be born again - being free in Chris to love God and to love others, being free from the burden of striving for unattainable righteousness, and experiencing the change of a born-again heart whose desires are illuminated and ennobled to follow the Lord.

  • Now this Testimony is more the Uniqueness of True Christianity & not another copy.--Book of Romans; Exceedingly Sinfulness of man, God's Law, Judgment upon mankind. THESE come first in Salvation, BEFORE agreeing Jesus is the way--Salvation comes in certain Order of Understanding before (left out here, as most do) HOLY Spirit of God calls you to Repent (also not real clear here)--One must know where they Truly stand w/ God before just Jumping ahead to some Saved/Born Again title--read Gal 3:22-24

  • Though I respect this gentleman's decision to leave the church, I can't help but feel there is more to this story. I don't agree with the speakers account that Mormon's do not study the Bible. I am LDS, and I study the Bible often. I'm actually undertaking the task of reading the entire cannon from from to back. I'm happy for this guy, truly, but there are holes in this man's story. Not everything this man says is how every LDS member thinks or feels.
