Alice in Wonderland (StopMotion)

After making my short film "Blind", I wanted to make a video of Alice in Wonderland, and since next year Tim Burton will release his version for Disney, I decided to make my own version. I used a mix of stopmotion, and shots of real movements.

In this video I did everything, I composed and performed the music, also the stage, puppetry, animation, makeup, in short all that you see was done by me, using mostly photoshop, Sony Vegas, and patience. I'm happy with the outcome, it couldve been better, but it would have taken longer, and this is one of the videos that took me longer to do.

I think Ill leave the Stop Motion for a while, and Ill do dubs and videocilps that are simpler.

My main influences are recognizable in the video, Tim Burton in terms of aesthetics and Danny Elfman (and Yann Tiersen) in terms of musical composition. Also can remind stopmotion The Corpse Bride The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline and the secret door.

Después de hacer mi corto Blind , tenía ganas de hacer un video de Alicia en el país de las maravillas, y ya que el próximo año se estrenará la versión de Tim Burton para Disney, decidí hacer mi propia versión. Usé una mezcla de animación cuadro por cuadro, y tomas de movimientos reales.
En este video hice todo, la música la compuse e interpreté yo, también los escenarios, las marionetas, la animación, el maquillaje, en resumen todo lo que vean lo hice yo, usando principalmente photoshop, Sony Vegas, y mucha paciencia. Estoy contento con el resultado, pudo ser mejor, pero me habría tardado mucho más, y en sí este es uno de los videos que más tiempo me ha tomado hacer.
Creo que por un tiempo dejaré de lado el Stop Motion, y haré doblajes y videos cilps que son más simples.
Mis influencias principales se pueden reconocer en el video; Tim Burton en cuanto a la estética y Danny Elfman (y Yann Tiersen) en cuanto a la composición musical. También el stopmotion puede recordar a El cadáver de la novia El extraño mundo de Jack y Coraline y la puerta secreta.
