Mark Edward Dance Theatre: I Thought You Were Dead Dear?

I Thought You Were Dead Dear? is a reconstruction of Mark Edward & Company's 2002 dance theatre work: 'Recovery Clinic for the Tormented Stars'. In 2011 the work was revisited and performed by year 2 Edge Hill University Dance, Drama & Physical Theatre students. This challenging Tanztheater piece addresses social behaviour, consumerist culture, size zero, compulsive heteronormativity, biographies, the current climate of war zones all interwoven with parody, irony and pastiche.
