  • From someone else who's seen the movie, I agree 200%. Nobody in their right mind would say Aesop Rock and Vanilla Ice are the same person, much less Aesop Rock and Crack'd Out, the group featured at the end of this trailer.

  • All white people who like hip hop were not put into the same category.

Watch the movie, it was very well done.

  • Jimi Hendrix pioneered hard rock and metal, and who followed it? All white guys. Only Prince, THin Lizzy, and Living Color played hard rock, while thousands of white guys drove hard rock into the stratosphere. BLacks were busy doing funk, disco, blues, reggae, etc. That's great, but then rap stopped it all dead in its tracks. Rap is a curse. the sooner you face it the sooner you can get back to having something to be proud of.

  • @DivinelyMochaDipped You sound thoroughly uneducated and neck deep in your own black supremacist bullshit. Sure, black people invented gospel by merging african rhythms with what? IRISH and NORTHERN EUROPEAN FOLK SONGS. Pure african music sounds NOTHING like american pop music. Did blacks pioneer rock n roll and other styles? Sure, and whites FURTHERED IT. Blacks stopped pioneering with rap, that was the end. Face reality. Your race got neck deep in pride and blew it. Rap stinks.

  • @TheRealCritique

u sound bitter. get over it. truth is when it comes to music, it was all rooted in african rhythm. some white ppl may have come along, mimicked, and added their own style. but the foundation of american music is rooted in black innovation and genius. i know white america doesn't favor putting "black, innovation, and genius" together in one sentence, but the truth is the truth. *yawn*

  • 0:21 Says it all all. It's a joke to whites, they are pimping rap music b/c they're bored and doing it on a whim. They have no respect for what blacks have been through. Blacks rap, because that what they LIVED!!!! All the oppression, all the pain, all the injustice, all the poverty. Can most whites relate? No b/c to them it's all a joke! smh

  • I'm a white guy who liked rap until about 1994 or so. Since then, it got all popped out, and the beats got fucked up in my opinion, not to mention the utter lack of politics (PE) of rappers of recent times.

Like most music genres it had its day when it was new, and that day is gone.

Just because you're white means you want to hear white rappers. The only one who was any good is Eminem, and he's the most innovative rapper of any that are famous now. He came up in the culture, though.

  • I love being Black! Black people are so unique thats why all others races try to dress and act like us.

  • We'll see how Paul Mooney likes that. VVV

  • I'm going to make a documentary about black people who graduate high school, know how to spell and take care of their children and accuse them of stealing white culture.

  • by the way mooney fucker, stop going to the symphony - that's white music, asshole.
