If you read Ovid, Sophia is the goddess of wisdom. The NT is obviously heavily influenced by the Greco-Roman world. Just as the Hebrews heavily plagiarized the Egyptians, so did the Christians plagiarize the Greeks and the Romans.

God's divine nature is genderless. Jesus describes himself as a mother hen in Matthew 23:37, yet no one interprets this as Jesus claiming to be female.
The Word is God. In genesis 15, the Word comes to Abram, and Abram calls the word Yahweh. It is to this verse that Jesus alludes in John 8:40. "You are determined to kill me...Abraham did not do such things."
He goes on to say in verse 56: "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; HE SAW IT and was glad."

@aaronk1994 well, the subject was whether Jesus was a woman. Again, like I stated in the video, the NT misappropriates the titles to mean things they did not originally mean in the OT. And thanks for the Mother Hen section :) that wasn't brought to my attention. I could've included that in here.
