I guess the Gerudos died out because Ganondorf didn't have any children (that we know of atleast) in OoT. There is only one male Gerudo every 100 years. :)
-
Four Swords Adventures comes after this actually and Gerudo's DO exit at this point, but they're just not seen, like Deku's or Kokiri's.
-
Twilight princess is set hundreds of years after OoT so it probably is the spirit temple.
-
Nintendo left the Gerudos out because they would look too damn sexy in TP graphics!
-
hey this is cool
im going to make a theory video on this
-
I actually looked at this in-game myself... It does look like the outline of the statue above the temple in Ocarina of Time but almost moulded to the rock... Who knows.
-
Damn dude, chill. No argument intended.

What the fuck are you arguing with me for? I'm just saying what he means in the video. Also, he doesn't mean north and south are only flipped in various areas. What he means is that, according to his theory, there is something more in north of Gerudo Desert TP, which you can't access. That would be the Spirit Temple according to him,
So the north of the Desert in TP = South of the desert in OoT. What don't you understand, honestly?
-
Wait, scratch that South is East thing, I got the location of the Forest Temple confused with the initial village.

Sorry, I responded with the wrong account originally. And no, I don't think that makes any sense. Not everything in OOT and TP match exactly. I mean, obviously the river is different, and Hyrle field is very changed... And if you really want to be anal about it, Then East in OOT is South in TP. Unless you're saying that North and South are only flipped WITHIN the various areas... which I think is just silly.
The desert is flipped because the map was designed for the gamecube version first. When it was processed for the Wii, Nintendo horizontally flipped it so that Link would become right handed, and easier to control with the Wiimote. If you look at the gamecube version map, it almost matches Ocarina of Time exactly... with porportional distances and everything. There are lots of other subtle hints like the Desert Colossus. The Forest Temple, for example, looks like the remains of the Deku Tree.
