  • @JonMoucheron17 Guitar is easy compared to the violin, lol. I cant believe you even said that, especially when its about Bach music. Do you know how hard it is to play Bach on the violin? Everything has to be perfect.

  • I like the D Major end ;-)

  • @AgnusDei0fire jeez...dude u need to CALM down, i never said he was bad or that oi could do better than him but what i was saying is still right, his sound is airy, and no in this recording only, his 24th caprise is off too, plus this one has quite a bit of really out of tune notes in the beginning, ps. hes not the master, he seems a bit over confident...just my opinion. Some times a great teacher doesnt mean a great student.

  • @indiandude786 are you traying to teach the master??? really?? so.. you mean yo can do it better than him?... let's see... upload a video of you playing that song better than him! :)

  • I like everything about it, even the expressions, it is very beautiful of expressing his emotion for playing this song.; I would also say that the sound is quite beautiful and probably a lot more true to the original Bach feeling than say a Hilary Hahn rendition. Getting analytical at this point just highlights your own flaws.

  • he needs to put more pressure on the bow...it sound like hes barely toughing the strings...and its all scratchy...

  • Hmm - Clayton posts to promote his (expensive) DVD courses. I know from his blog that he's an insightful teacher. But I don't think he does himself any favours by promoting himself as "World Class". Sure, he's a solid pro, but compare this to, say, the version here by Hilary Hahn and you can see that in terms of tone, articulation, phrasing and general control he's not in the ball park. And the breathing technique he teaches seems to produce so much noise it's being picked up by the mic!

  • @TomAnkcorn

No, it's definately not easy. No instrument is easy to master. But compared to the violin, it's a lot easier.

  • @KittyRokher I play both and classical guitar is not easy although to pick up a guitar and get a nice sound definitely is easier.

  • @JonMoucheron17

It's not harder. Guitar is one of the easiest instruments to learn. That comment was bad and you should feel bad.

  • Wow just wow.. Crazy skills.. Perfect hand posture and i think he is double handed.. Awesome!!!

  • I personally think it's too fast. I mean it's supposed to be a dance after all. And I really don't understand how he can play all of that in the upper half of his bow, WHATA LEGEND!!! I'm gonna show my teacher this and then he'll shut up!
