@FREGETW i do not play in this band, i do not.
i am good at what i do Mr. Freget.
It does not take that long to reach that high,
you just have to practice you'll get it on the fly.
just keep the beat, breathe it, ride on it,
if you follow these words, you will acheve that high,
soloing is easy, just go with it,
youll find your toes tappin, keeping with the beat
soloing is easy, it is it is!
mix it up and youll amaze, stagger, find your mind with this jazzy breeze!

I play the alto sax as well, and I'm the second one. There is a background solo for the second sax which I will be playing with my Jazz Band. I'm rather excited as well, due to that the rest of the band has been playing for 4+ years, meanwhile I've been playing for around 6 months.
Ahh, what you can achieve with practice.
Anyway, this is a great song, it really makes me just get up and boogie!
Your band seems really skilled. How long did it take to reach this high? :)

I play the alto sax, and this song is just AWSOME for soloing on. I am part of a jazz band at my school and im suggesting to my music teacher that we play it

i have to say, i like my bands arrangement of this better, and the band as a whole played it better based on recordings, but the rhythm sections were pretty impressive :)

do you guys think the Clarinet is a jazz instrument? cos I'm pretty much neglected in my band, and I'm sure I play better than most of the wind instruments in my band :(.
