His German friend sitting next to him was politely told he could not use his video camera in the club. Jack Corbett had his Canon 950 digital Elf, a still camera and too small to do much. More than a disco, Pattaya's X-Zyte Disco has shows. The sexy Thai dancers are as beautiful as you will find in any go-go bar. The video takes you right into the club making you feel transported to Pattaya, Thailand, the most fun city on earth.

  • why was it prohibited?

  • @iAmAFan69 Two staff members came up to our table and told my German friend he could not use his video camera. I had a little Canon SD 700 then, a still camera, which did excellent video in those days with its stabilization and other features. The staff must have felt the little Canon was a joke and not good with video if capable of doing it at all. So I was allowed to use it. I am now using a Panasonic LX-5, another still camera but one which does excellent video.

  • @iAmAFan69 But a good point.....why was it prohibited? There's close to 150,000 hits on my video here so obviously the video was good PR for Excite. I've found that Thais here in Pattaya are for the most part clueless when it comes to logical thinking and the lack of being able to think logically extends to promoting their bars. Thankfully not all Thai bar owners are this way as I've met some good ones, an example of which is Pen whose bar I've shot in another video.

  • @Durrok786 As new as version 10 is there are TWO updates on the Cyberlink web site. Tech support advised me to install the latest update. I already had. Apparently Cyberlink is very aggressive in introducing new features but it is releasing very buggy software. Latest advice from tech was to not use my anti virus program, change my video resolution to 1024 by 768, change my drivers, etc. Truth is the fault lies in their software. I advise trying the Corel free trial.

  • @Fitswell1 Who says it's cause you have Windows 7 Pro? That's horse crap. Albeit Powerdirector is a terrific program in many respects, I haven't in a single case found the company's technical support to be resolve a single issue of mine. Powerdirector was the top choice in Top Ten Reviews, also in P.C. Magazine. Corel got second place, in Top Ten and I think P.C. Magazine as well. Apparently the Corel Product is the best. I have it on my computer now. Just not used to it.

  • @Durrok786

I've just been going over the Amazon.com software reviews. The new Corel Video Studio Pro X-4 is getting the best reviews and it appears to be very stable. Cyberlinks Powerdirector version 10 seems to be very well liked but also......many many users call it god awful buggy. I have recently upgraded to version 10. I am used to the Cyberlink product and feel it's easy to use and it has terrific features. But even version 10 freezes every time I do certain things

  • @Fitswell1 I've tried a few different editing programs some of which have had good reviews, but I've had problems myself with crashes a lot when I try to watch the Vid, I keep hearing that it's coz I've got Windows 7 Pro?. Now i'm kinda lost, got lots of different holiday and business trip vids recorded on a really fucking expensive kick ass camera that I wana edit. So my question is: Does this program provide proper instructions and does get online updates i.e. is it Windows 7 Pro compatible?
