RIP Sammy

Had our dog put down today.

She was quiet, adorable, and hated being picked up/cuddled. But she was also lazy and wouldn't really protest being cuddled (aside from groaning).

We had her put down because she lost nearly all her sight and hearing, had stopped eating, and couldn't move around very much at all.

She starred in such viral hits as "New Moon in a Minute" and "WTF Blanket 3," and I've had her since I was 6. She will be missed.

Nature's cruelest joke... cats can live for 20+ years, turtles and parrots for even longer, but the most loyal pet you could have, the one that wouldn't think twice about laying it's life on the line for you, rarely lives longer than 14. It's a damn shame.
