Stop allowing banks to give loans to people who are not qualified to repay them. Stop allowing GM, whose unions price the company out of the marketplace, to bankrupt the company.

Obama was just on TV lauding his accomplishment of creating 55,000 jobs for GM with the bailout. Lets do the math : $55,000,000,000 bailout to create 55,000 jobs. That's $1 million dollars a job. Average pay for a GM worker : $75,000.00 a year. 13 years worth of salary to KEEP paying a GM worker that much money. So now we can pay MORE money than usual for a GM car, which is the company I have always chosen to buy my cars from. Brilliant! What a moron. You laud this as an accomplishment?

@GT1004 Hey GT1004, you are exactly right. There is something uneasy about the govt becoming a partner with a company and thus can put a burden on the competition. Picking and chooseing winners. General Electric also has the backing of the govt as the 'goto' company to transfer to this stupid thing called a 'green' economy. Holland does not even use windmills yet we are to believe that the US is supposed to convert to wind turbines.

@omogaju Hey omo, if you are using that GM propaganda comercial as you base of info then they mislead you. GM has not even sold enough cars to pay of the billions in bailout. An accountant trick on the books, (debt to equity swap) is how the GM commercial can claim that the repaid the 'loan'.

GM and Chrysler would have reorged under the bankruptcy courts, they were not going to liquidate. The idea that he helped GM is an illusion. He bailed out the unions. Helping the unions is his first priority--he would like all workers to be unionized. Ford did not want the bailout and look at them--billions in profits now. His first year was a failure and now with his proposed 3.8 trillion dollar budget and raising taxes, his 2nd year is going to be a worse failure-if that is possible.

As a result now the credit crisis arose and nobody is buying cars. Fuck what Obama says. We need to excersise our right and form a new gioverment
