The Delusions of Sasha Grey

SG says makes a lot of strange statements in interviews and on different discussion fora. One really has to discuss and refute some of her most untrue and delusional statements.

Here are some of her delusions:

1. She wants to liberate people sexually.

She doesn´t, her movies just reinforces typical gender stereotypes.

2. She is an intellectual.

Not in any of her public statements does she express any deep, original or intellectual thoughts and views.

3. She wants to rejuvenate porn.

She doesn´t add anything new. Her porn includes only the ordinary, perverse and violent stuff that has been around for ages in underground porn. Her porn is also as boring and stereotypical as any other porn.

4. She is rather normal, she just has an advanced sex life.

No, not so normal, the sexual acts she performs are quite pathological, and it seems that she lacks any insight in that herself.

5. She is no victim of abuse.

When she was 17 she had a boyfriend that was eight years older than her that introduced her into very kinky sex.

To introduce a minor into such things is certainly a kind of abuse.

6. Her participating in porn movies is performance art.

Her performance in those movies has nothing to do with art, it´s just the same bizarre sex acts recorded in order to make as big profit as possible, luring porn addicted and sexually twisted persons to buy those movies as a surrogate for real relationships, sex and intimacy.

7. She is not a prostitute

She, and most other pornstars, do exactly the same thing as any prostitute: having sex for money.

8. She is not afraid of STD:s

She ought to be. The rate of STD:s among pornstars is much higher than in the average population.

This has got to be the most stupidest video on youtube. Porn is liberating simply because it showcases what people do, and can do in bed. Porn helps to perpetuate the species. The porn industry, technologically...is the most advanced form of media out there...look it up, they surpass even news agencies.

I like Sasha Grey. I've actually seen her in interviews as opposed to porn. But I do own a DVD where she is in a sex scene. It was a filler performance, not really relevant to the movie. But I like her because she seriously stirs the pot. Sex among consenting adults is a good thing. Freedom without sex is boring.
