  • I don't have any experience with a real sniper rifle, but it seems to me that in BF3 the sniper rifle bullets travel more slowly and drop more than I think they would in real life.

  • @TheShapie95

Actually, the trajectories in games are flatter than real life. Bullet drop is a huge factor that must be compensated for. Most game rifles shoot laser beams.

Watch my "Road to Precision" series for some video of what it really looks like.

  • Bulletdrop in BF3 with SV98 supressor, 10043558765 pixels :)

  • @LateDude96

Not quite that much, I say more like 100-400 pixels depending if your suppressed or not.

  • 3:28 looks like a setup which i understand because its a instructional video but I don't think that was real I apologize if i'm mistaken but I've never seen anyone take those kind of shots that weren't luck or body kills

  • @CptSmokeAlot

You will see that kind of shot all the time if you frequent the sniper only servers. That was not staged. Everyone loves to snipe from the tower, which makes them easy targets if you know how to counter snipe the location.

I play BC2, but not that much. Im waiting for BF3.

  • This is really well done, I thought it was gonna be some useless common sense stuff, but this is well thought out.

  • I use your flag strategy and the attack sword strategy the longest shot I have ever taken was from the hotel from the "Gulf of Oman" map leading all the way to the aircraft carrier (1184 yards. I obviously had a spotter.
