New faiths aren't born every day.

But in 2009 it happened. A new form of spirituality emerged into the light. Runnism: the Religion of Running.

Long-distance running brings you inner peace, a sense of accomplishment, a deeper enjoyment of life.

Like a religion, running comforts you in times of hardship. Before I started to run regularly, I thought that it required self-control and constant sacrifice. But nowadays I reward myself for a job well done by leaving my keyboard behind and going for a run, whatever the weather.

If you follow the Seven Steps of Runnism, you'll understand that you don't need to compete with others, just with yourself.

You'll learn that, although progress demands sacrifice, you can improve yourself gradually. You don't need to run a marathon straight away. That's dangerous, and not even the ultimate goal for a runnist. The real goal is a fulfilled life, a feeling of endless energy -- every day. Runnism will make you look better on the outside, feel better on the inside, enhance your self-confidence and give you the endurance you need to deal with anything life throws at you.

Worship your body. Get up and go for a run. Do it at your own pace, you'll love it. Become a Runnist today!
