I heard this song on the radio for the first time last week, and loved it. I love it even more after finding this video. It's been a sad week for me, and being able to watch my beloved Muppets rock out to this song has been a huge comfort. Thank you.

@Figs232, Floyd and the band have been put with lots of other tracks, but none so well done as this one. I actually wished, on listening, that we had sounded like that when we did the original. Kudos to you, pal.

Youngster, I was at the old hardcore shows. This guy was doing some hybrid jam band dance/pogo that bypassed enjoying the show and just annoyed everyone else there. Reminded me of "Soy Bomb."  As far as the "nuts" aspect to the crowd, people were following the band around like the bloody Grateful Dead. Near as I can see, this was like H.O.R.D.E., not hardcore.

dude, you're missing the point of the hold steady live, it harkens back to the old days of all ages hardcore shows, you get a little bumped around but only because you're there to love the music, if getting pogo-ed on is pissing you off, you're at the wrong show.

Not too crazy about Franz' new facial hair or headgear. Big ups to Craig for slimming down though. Rather miss the deadybear sticker on his guitar :-)

Boy, I really wish the sound had been better when they played Bloomington, and the crowd hadn't been so nuts. Kinda scary, that.

And If that one scrawny kid with the crap facial hair pogo-ed against me one more time, his parents would still weep at his loss.
