I am pretty sure this is a goat skull. Like, pretty sure. The canines are missing, but the incisors looks like non-predator to me.

6 x 6", oil on linen, done in one sitting.

  • It's absolutely amazing how you can sing, play the ukulele & paint at the same time :)

  • @MrJimBunny also, i am vacuuming and changing a tire, but the camera angle is too narrow. thanks for noticing!

  • How about some stiil life of grapes or some fruit you love? Thank you for all of your videos

keep them coming we love your skills as an Artist! Ray

  • Beautiful painting & lovely singing! If the skull has front teeth it can't be a goat. They, along with cows, sheep, deer & llamas (probably others I can't think of at the moment), do not have incisors on their upper jaw. I'm curious to know if you do manage to discover what it is. It is certainly a very fine/delicate skull, a marvelous subject.

  • Artificial lighting in the studio. How to position it, what kind of lights.
