Extend Windows Vista activation grace period AFTER expiration. Get access to the system using the browser. Then using "slmgr -rearm" to extend activation grace period for 30 days. Using "slmgr -rearm" is legal; everybody can extend the period three times for 30 days. Enough time to register legally or switch to Windows 7.

  • Thanks dude. What if my Windows Vista already expired.

    Thanks.

  • @lcy041282 This is exactly for when your vista expired and you haven't used the slmgr command too often.

  • @54114142

Yeah, but what when you can no longer use rearm?

I've used enough rearms, after that I was restoring my system to previous dates, while that was possible, but then I've lost suiting restore points. Now I'm stuck because no crack out there works... :S

  • @Sonjayu: There are enough cracks out there that would work. However, try getting a legal version. ;) You could use a linux live system(e.g. knoppix) to save and backup your data if you don't want to register your current OS.

  • what happens if the computer cant find slmgr?

  • Don't think that this could happen. However, sooner or later you must register your vista anyway.

  • Hey,I hope you are still around. I am not so good with PC's,but my Windows HP time also expired,I never used my product key and everytime I type it now it dont work, can you help?

  • Thanks alot for this video it really helped.

For those having problems with it starting Google Chrome instead of IE

You can just write C:/ go to program files and the Internet Explorer folder and start iexplorer.exe and do the same as the video states since Chrome only "downloaded" the files and let you start it that way I couldn't start it with administrative rights this should help with that problem. Also if you have finished all the rearms you can use this way to start a activation program.:)

  • I don't have iExlorer though, I have Google Chrome. So I can't view CMD.
