Can you make one of just the popcorn sitting plainly on the wooden table? So far I only videos where the kernal is on or connected by something.....

if it was just sitting flat on the table it wouldn't be in alignment with the antenna (this might work with 3 cell phones - but not just one)

in my most recent video - where it's glued to the rod - you can see the entire setup pretty well. I'd think most people would be satisfied there's no heat going through the rod.

there was one kernal to the right of the phone closer then all the other ones, why didn't that one pop.

maybe it needed some butter / oil?

not uncommon for some kernels just to not pop. may have also just needed longer. I bet if I'd placed another call - it would've popped.
